James N. Hendershot joined Timoney Knox as an associate in 2018.  His practice focuses on commercial and real estate litigation and business disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hendershot practiced complex commercial litigation with a boutique commercial litigation firm in Center City Philadelphia.  Before that, Mr. Hendershot served as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Conner of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the Hon. Thomas P. Rogers of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, and the Hon. Anne E. Lazarus of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.  He also served as a Senior Editor on Penn State’s Journal of Law and International Affairs.

Mr. Hendershot earned his undergraduate degree in history from Susquehanna University, graduating summa cum laude with university honors and with a minor in business administration.  He rowed on the university’s crew team, and holds the school’s lightweight men’s record for fastest 500-meter sprint.
