“The Process is never going to end.” - Joel Embiid

Evan focuses his practice on complex litigation within the insurance industry.  He represents carriers in bad faith litigation, coverage disputes, fraud investigations, and general liability defense matters.  Additionally, he regularly counsels insurance clients and represents their interests in subrogation and recovery claims and investigations throughout the country.  His diverse knowledge of the insurance industry and their needs allows him to counsel clients effectively on a wide variety of matters.

Prior to joining Timoney Knox, Evan’s practice was focused on subrogation and personal injury.  Evan has significant experience as a litigator, having represented clients in several high profile litigations including the In re: Market Street Building Collapse matter in Philadelphia.  He has helped recover millions of dollars for his clients, whether it be insurers or injured parties.  In addition to recoveries, he has counseled insurers through difficult investigations and negotiations involving catastrophic property and workers’ compensation claims investigations in order to protect their interests and preserve recovery potential.  This experience allows him to see disputes from both sides of the coin and provide creative, efficient solutions.

Evan obtained his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his law degree from Villanova, where he was a managing editor on the Villanova Environmental Law Review.  He currently resides in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood of Philadelphia with his wife Calli and their son, William.  He is a life-long native of the Philadelphia area and avid fan of the Sixers, Phillies, and Eagles.
